After Jesus is baptized, how does he begin his ministry in Matthew 4? Why is this significant to us as followers of Jesus?
In Matthew 4, Jesus spent time with people. What kind of people? Does this resonate with you? How?
Read ahead to Matthew 5:1-2. What caused Jesus to move to the mountainside? And what does he do next? How important is teaching to Jesus?
In Matthew 5-7, Jesus is going to teach his first recorded talk (sermon). It's going to start with true happiness (human flourishing). What's the connection to seeing the crowd and starting to teach?
