Sunday Message Text: MARK 4:35-41

Bible Plan Readings - Week 5

  • Someone has said you're either coming out of a storm, currently in a storm, or about to head into a storm? Can you agree with this? What does this say about life in general?

  • From Sunday's message (MARK 4) or the Meet Jesus Bible Reading Plan, what impacted you the most? Was there a word, phrase, or Bible verse that impacted you? *What did you highlight?

  • From the readings, what have you learned about Jesus? What gives him the title "Calmer of our storm"? How does this encourage you this week?

  • Is there any comfort from being in a killer storm on the stormy sea with Jesus?

  • Do you believe you "need storms" in your life?

  • From the readings, is there anything you need to do? Think about the disciples in the storm? Why were they in the storm? Had they done something wrong or right?

  • For you right now, what does it look like to get in the boat with Jesus?

  • What lesson would the disciples had missed if they didn't get in the boat? Are you in the boat with Jesus?
