Faith Over Fear

Updated: Jan 19

I have some good news for you. The good news is that there is nothing that our God can’t do. Like Abram and Sarai, when things don’t go as we would like, our temptation is to charge ahead - because of fear and the “what ifs”. If God has promised it, He will keep His promise, and He is able to do it because of who He is. Thank him for being a God of righteousness, faithfulness, and grace. Have the courage, faith, and discipline to trust Him and wait for His timing.

Week 2

Bible Reading Plan

Weekly Content Questions Every week, you'll see the same five content questions. Use them as a guide as you read the scriptures. Pray for consistency in your Bible reading.

  1. Who are the main characters in this text, and is there anyone you can relate to?

  1. Is there anything from this text that we are to do (obey, believe, heed, or follow)?

  1. What do you learn about God in these chapters, and how has that changed what you believe about Him?

  1. What do these passages reveal about human nature, sin, and our need for God?

  1. What’s the Good News found in this text?

Application Questions

Every week, you'll see five unique application questions. Use them to help live out what you're learning in scripture. Pray for life transformation.

  1. When have you experienced God‘s provision in a time of great need? How did you thank Him?

  1. When is it hard for you to wait on God? What could you do to remain faithful in the waiting?

  1. When you’re in the midst of hard times, where does your peace come from? How would others know that?

  1. When have you limited the Lord based on your own personal weakness or fear? Looking back could you have done something differently?

  1. If you were to live as if “all things are possible with God” (Mark 10:27) what would be different about your life?

Pray expectantly for what God is going to teach you through His Word is 2026. If you miss a week, try to catch up or just pick up where you can. He will honor your efforts and help you through this. Just put one foot in front of the other. He promises that He will never leave you, that His Word will never return empty, and that He is faithful even when we're not. And THAT is good news.
