Sunday's Message Text:
Bible Plan Readings - Week 18
START IT.
What is the difference between being "alive" and "living"?
SHARE IT.
From Sunday's message in Judges 6, or the Meet Jesus Bible Reading Plan this week, what is impacting you the most? Was there a word, phrase, Bible verse, or theme that impacted you? Hint: What did you highlight
From Judges 6, how did Gideon describe himself and his people? What excuse does he try to use? Do you ever feel this way?
From Judges 6, what made Gideon an overcomer (v12-16)? Was overcoming more about Gideon or about God?
In Judges 6, when God says, "Surely I will be with you", what do you learn about God?
What did Gideon do when he knew he was speaking to God? (v22-24)
SHOW IT.
Do you think like Gideon or not? What would people around you say?
Today, do you believe in Christ all things really are possible? Do you believe you are an overcomer in Christ?
Why does God have to speak to us when we feel weak? Why doesn't he just do things for us?
Who needs to hear the message of Gideon, that God is with them? Can you name someone specific right now?
FINAL THOUGHT
God always does more than we think he's capable of doing. Have you stopped to see that He is with you?
